An energy audit is a systematic assessment of a facility’s energy use — identifying inefficiencies in HVAC, lighting, electrical, and operational systems to deliver measurable cost savings, support BEE compliance where mandated, and advance sustainability goals.
In India, energy audits are mandatory for Designated Consumers under the BEE’s PAT scheme and are increasingly vital for businesses targeting Net Zero commitments, LEED, GRIHA, IGBC, ECBC compliance, BRSR reporting, and ISO 50001

Identify and eliminate energy waste across HVAC, lighting, motors, and compressed air systems — delivering significant, recurring utility bill reductions.

Meet mandatory requirements under the Energy Conservation Act 2001, PAT scheme, and BEE guidelines — avoiding penalties and qualifying for government incentives.

Generate data for BRSR reporting, ESG disclosures, GHG emission reduction, Net Zero commitments, and green building certifications including LEED, GRIHA, and IGBC.

Detect aging or inefficient equipment before it fails. Extend lifespan of HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems — reducing unplanned downtime.

Identify thermal comfort issues, poor ventilation, and inadequate lighting — driving higher productivity and satisfaction for employees and tenants.

Energy-efficient buildings command higher valuations, lower insurance premiums, and attract premium tenants — improving long-term real estate and industrial asset ROI.
Best for: Buildings new to energy management, initial benchmarking
Best for: Commercial buildings, hospitals, industries, hotels, multi-site retail
Best for: Large industrial plants, government buildings, ESCO financing
Scope definition, utility bill review, asset inventory, layout drawings, and mapping of applicable BEE, ECBC, and ISO 50001 requirements for the facility.
Field measurements using thermography, power metering, flow meters, and equipment inspection — covering HVAC, lighting, motors, and compressed air systems.
Load profiling, energy benchmarking against BEE norms, loss quantification, and identification of Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) with saving potential.
Prioritised ECM recommendations with estimated savings, payback period, and an action roadmap — formatted for BEE, ECBC, or client-specific requirements.
Implementation support, post-installation monitoring, and savings verification in accordance with IPMVP or applicable BEE M&V guidelines.

Our energy audit services are conducted in full alignment with Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) guidelines and the Energy Conservation Act 2001
Our team holds BEE Certified Energy Auditor (CEA) and Certified Energy Manager (CEM) credentials, with extensive hands-on auditing experience across diverse industries and building types.
From initial audit to implementation support and post-installation M&V — we stay with you until savings are verified, not just reported.
Specialized in large-scale multi-location rollouts for retail chains, franchise operations, and distributed industrial facilities across India.
Infrared thermography, real-time power analyzers, flue gas analyzers, and calibrated instruments for precise, defensible measurements.

Benchmarking and performance tracking
A detailed energy audit for a medium-sized commercial or industrial facility typically takes 2–5 weeks, covering pre-audit data collection, on-site survey, analysis, and report preparation. Timelines for large or complex facilities, or multi-site programmes, are confirmed at the scoping stage.
For BEE Designated Consumers (DCs) under the PAT scheme, audit frequency is governed by BEE notification — typically aligned with each PAT cycle. For non-mandatory facilities, every 3–5 years is recommended, or following major equipment changes, capacity expansion, or at the start of an ISO 50001 implementation journey.
