A water audit is a systematic, data-driven assessment of an organization’s complete water lifecycle — from the point of intake and distribution, through every end-use application, to discharge and recycling. It quantifies how much water enters a facility, how it is used, and where losses occur.
Conducted in alignment with frameworks such as CGWA / SGWA/SGWB/CPCB guidelines, IGBC norms, ISO 46001, IWA and client-specific internal requirements, a water audit provides actionable insights to improve water efficiency, reduce costs, and meet regulatory requirements.

Full accounting of water inflow, consumption by process, and discharge — no unaccounted losses.

Specialized equipment identifies hidden leaks in pipes, cooling systems, and irrigation networks.

Your water intensity is benchmarked against national norms and sector-specific best practices.

to be submitted within 3 months of audit completion.

Under the Ministry of Jal Shakti, the Central Ground Water Authority (CGWA) —mandates that all industries abstracting groundwater in excess of 100 m³/day must conduct a biennial (once in two years) water audit, and submit the audit report to CGWA within three months of its completion. Non-compliant industries are liable to pay Environmental Compensation equivalent to 20 times the groundwater abstraction charges. Additionally, all such industries must achieve at least a 20% reduction in groundwater usage within three years.
Our water audit methodology follows IWA, and CGWA guidelines to deliver accurate, actionable, and compliant results every time.
